The #twins dropped 2 of 3 against the #royals this week. We think this may be a trend we see a lot this year. Go check out our takes on the second series of the season! #mlb

Could just be overreacting to the early parts of the season, but this team has lost 3 winnable ball games to start the year. If someone steps up in the the right spot this team could be 3-1 if not 4-0
‘Joe’s Notes’ on the Twins game today thread incoming:
1. Simeon got a lot of weak contact which is good, but he can’t throw strikes which is not good. He threw ball 1 to 50% of the batters he faced as the first pitch. Being behind in the count that often won’t do you any favors.
5. Austin Martin will be a good leadoff hitter. KEEP HIM IN AGAINST RIGHTIES. Quit pulling the analytics card if Trevor Larnach is going to suck off the bench.
Ryne’s early reaction and postgame thoughts.
4 hits against Bubic and a depleted Royals bullpen is not going to cut it. Horrible approaches all game result in another loss in a winnable game. Hopefully the Twins can bounce back Wednesday.
More than 11,000 fans participated in our fifth annual MLB Hope-O-Meter.
Overall, 72 percent reported they are optimistic about their favorite team this season, compared to 66 percent in 2025.
BREAKING: Center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and the Chicago Cubs are finalizing a long-term contract extension, sources tell ESPN. Crow-Armstrong, coming off a 30-30 season and a Gold Glove, will get a big payday as the Cubs lock up a franchise-caliber talent.
