With the end of year rapidly approaching, it's more important now than ever to take time to relax and take care of ourselves. So this week, take some time to do something that relaxes you, do some self care, and get prepared for the busy season that is to come!
Meet Rufka, a first year school counseling student from Ghana. Rufka joined this program because she wanted to be a listening ear to children and someone they can confide in. She is currently at Longfellow elementary, and wants to work in an elementary or middle school.
Meet Myah, an future school counselor from Fowlerville, Michigan. Myah is currently Interning at Monroe Central! One lesson she learned was importance of being flexible and adapting to sudden changes or concerns. After graduation, she wants to work at a rural school!
