She’s right.
When wealthy, educated, and responsible families have more children (like SRK’s third kid), they can give them better resources, education, health, and opportunities. That builds more prosperity and human capital for society.
When poor families have more kids without the means to support them properly, it often deepens the cycle of poverty — straining limited resources, education access, and opportunities.
This isn’t “elitism.” It’s basic reality about intergenerational mobility, family planning, and breaking poverty traps.
Her own regret about not having a third child makes it even more honest and personal.
Kudos to Madhuri for speaking straight on Lock Upp 2 instead of playing safe.

Let me remind you:
In India, a woman does not need the consent of her husband, boyfriend, parents, or anyone else to get an abortion.

Across India, around 1.25 to 1.4 lakh abortions happen every month, adding up to 1.5 to 1.7 crore abortions in a year.

Means around 50,000 girls are killed every month through female foeticide, totaling 6 to 7 lakh girls every single year.

This is many times higher than the combined annual numbers of dowry deaths (~7,000–8,000), reported rape-murders, love jihad cases, and other muders against girls.

BTW,Majority of women undergoing abortions in India are Hindu.

Out of 35000 wives 99% of the husbands are facing consequences either jailed or still in cases
Out of 785 husbands who died there families are still struggling, even some are paying mentinence.
Marriage is where Two people give their consent.

अब तक जितने तरीकों से औरतों ने अपने पतियों को निपटाया हैं , उनसे ये तरीका सबसे वीभत्स हैं !

संध्या हैदराबाद में नर्स थी और उसका पति दुबई में जॉब करता था , संध्या का किसी के साथ प्रेम प्रसंग चल रहा था !

पति दुबई से घर आया तो उसे निपटाने के लिए नशे में छत से धक्का दिया लेकिन वो बच गया ,

अगले दिन हॉस्पिटल से डिस्चार्ज करा कर घर लाई और उसे बेहोशी का इंजेक्शन लगाया ,

फिर पति के नशों में टॉयलेट क्लीनर इंजेक्ट किया , तब जाकर उसकी मौत हुई !

जिसकी पत्नी नर्स होगी उसकी आधी जान हलक में ही रहेगी ये सुनने के बाद !
