A very interesting fact about the 1944 Canadian #nickel is the #morsecode message near the rim on the reverse. If you look closely, you can see the message "We win when we work willingly" in dots and dashes.

This 1944 Canadian #nickel was recently acquired in a bag of foreign coins at an estate auction. The obverse features King George VI and the reverse is a torch surrounded by a "V". The "V" stands both for victory and 5 cents.
