Did you really mention Love Island? That's your metric? I googled the viewership. Love Island USA only averages 3.7 million views per episode and that was only during its peak 8th season. That 3.7 million includes people of all races and sexes. Its 50+ million Black people in this country, the vast majority don't know what the fuck Love Island is.
