As we commemorate #MenstrualHygieneDay, we conducted a menstrual health and hygiene awareness session with women and girls with disabilities in Vurra Sub-county, Arua District.

We highlighted the importance of menstrual wellness, addressing negative attitudes, SRHR, and creating spaces where everyone is welcomed and supported.

Access to menstrual information and care should be available to every girl regardless of their abilities and without barriers.

We can promote a #PeriodFriendlyWorld as a community.

I facilitated the launch of the #InclusiveSRHR through Sports project by @GoldenBootsUg, with support from Dioraphte Foundation.

The project targets 1,000 youth in Kampala & Wakiso, enhancing SRHR information and awareness, improving access to services, and strengthening HIV care through inclusive strategies such as sign language and pitch-based learning.

I together with the team from @BambaForge had an inspiring visit yesterday to Ideas of Workshop, a program equipping youth with special needs with vocational skills in metalwork and carpentry.
With the help of their sign language interpreters, we shared words of motivation and look forward to returning to provide character development training as part of our ongoing support.
