What people need to realise is that any disruption caused by teachers striking is nothing compared to the ongoing disruption to education by teachers and TAs leaving the profession, or not joining in the first place, due to pay, conditions and culture. The crisis is happening.

@MineEYMind A parent is the first educator , the environment that is the Nursey is the next influence in a child’s life.I feel sad that the thought process of practitioners delivering a child centred approach is limited to this - poor practice.
9 year old pupil punished for not wearing his school jumper to school. This boy is a carer, has experienced trauma and viewed school as his sanctuary. He's now distressed. Please adults in schools, see beyond the 'rules' & seek to understand instead.
