20 YOUTH FROM BAMUTAKUDDE JOIN CULINARY SCHOOL

Three months ago, we dreamed of empowering our young people with practical skills to increase household income. We dreamed of Bamutakudde Catering Services.

Today, that dream is in uniform.

I am proud to share that Vine Culinary and Hospitality School has admitted 20 youth from Bamutakudde Village for a Professional Course in Catering Services free of charge.

Seeing our youth in their chef uniforms, cooking, focused, being trained by professional chefs was one of my happiest moments as Chairman. This is why.

Professional training by qualified chefs, Startup capital upon graduation to start their own businesses, Job placements in leading restaurants and hotels, Induction into the Chef Circle professional network

I have some exciting news to share.

Bamutakudde Village Health Camp was a SUCCESS!

Over 170 residents received free eye care, glasses, meds, HIV & diabetes screening.

I am happy to also share that over 15 cataract surgeries have been booked for next week.

Community Milestone: 96 Farming Tools Secured for #Bamutakudde

We are pleased to announce that Bamutakudde Village has received 96 hoes from the Government of Uganda through MAAIF/OWC.

This support directly strengthens our food security and women's economic empowerment pillars. These tools will be distributed to our farmers and youth engaged in our communal farming initiative, with a clear distribution and accountability framework in place.

We appreciate the @GovUganda @MAAIF_Uganda's commitment to equipping smallholder farmers at the grassroots.

Next step: Land preparation for the season is underway.

Today, the women of Bamutakudde Village were learning how to prepare good brown rice, commonly known as Pilau, courtesy of lessons from Chef Godwin Uganda and the support of their Chairman, @SolomonSerwanjj.

The aim is to help them establish a professional catering service in the village, which continues to position itself as a model village in Uganda.

UPDATE FROM BAMUTAKUDDE.

The Chairman's Children's Party was a success! 🎉

Over 200 children from Bamutakudde & neighbouring villages came together as they prepare to go back to school tomorrow.

We cooked together, ate together, danced, played football, swam & enjoyed theatrical plays by the children.

I organize this every holiday so every child feels they belong to this village. Their smiles say it all.

Wishing all our children a great 3rd term!
