Several yrs later he was a coach & was accused of inappropriate relations w/ a minor. I’m not so naive to think this doesn’t still happen, but I would like to hope/think we’re arming young women with the knowledge and strength that actions like this should not be tolerated

Watched Trainwreck: Woodstock 99 this weekend. I was thrust back to high school and realized how douchey dudes were back then. Many still are, but one thing that has changed is women standing up to the misogyny. And it makes so much sense why our country is in the state it’s in.

I vividly remember my best friend having a guy ‘show he liked her’ by going down her pants. She was 2 yrs younger than him and he didn’t say anything of the sort that he liked her. He just did it. Both her and I were so naive to realize this wasn’t normal. #TrainwreckWoodstock99
