@superTV247 The problem is that, if Israel were kicked out, then very likely Germany, and probably Italy (two of the Big Five), would withdraw. https://t.co/NXuAlijmxi
@NicolasBarlow@JamesEsses Did Ofcom do anything with Naked Education, that 2023 show where adults stripped naked in front of teenagers? Well, no, they thought it had a "clear educational focus". So don't expect any action.

@hawshob Was a decent game, referee ruined it though. Think he sent off a Musselburgh coach for pointing out that a red-carded player was merely asking a question!
@RangersTruth You are correct with the "blinded by independence" part, however, it is also true that the pro-UK vote ended up getting split with the rise of Reform. The SNP could lose many votes but because of the split end up getting the majority anyways.
@anon_opin It’s relatively cheap to make, it still has a decent following, and I think there might be a sense of pride for Channel 4 that their first ever programme is still on the air.
@FranciscoTNG_ Focuses too much on trying to be emotional and heart-warming. The classic seasons mixed emotion with hilarity, now there's too much focus on the former. "Marge fears empty nest syndrome! Bart and Lisa love each other! Isn't that beautiful?"
It's definitely not funny.
@evdokios What annoys me is that, for the 1990s episodes, they are now using the Disney+ upscales. Except, for "Stark Raving Dad" (which never got on Disney+), they used a TV rip from FXX, complete with watermark. What was wrong with the DVD rips?
@LorneMalvo67@nffckez@SkySports@SkySportsPL Reading comprehension not exactly your strong suit, is it? "There is a Premier League game, but it's not on the Premier League channel, which is showing a non-Premier League game".
@squadnos Annoyingly, that same article calls Albert Kidd the "St Mirren substitute" whose two goals denied Hearts the title in 1986. Kidd was actually playing for Dundee FC.
Pretty much the only winners of this being the FA Cup final are the FA themselves. Much more international attention and money to get from Man City v Chelsea, rather than Southampton v Leeds.
Anyone who says football was better back in the day - they're correct.
You know, besides the age verification horrors, what about children and teens who struggle to form friendships, or are relentlessly bullied in real life? What is being done to ensure they still get support and companionship?
Norway is moving to ban social media for children under the age of 16.
The minority Labour government will introduce a bill to parliament by the end of 2026, technology companies would be legally required to put in place effective age verification measures to block access for users under 16.
Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said the goal is to protect childhood:
“We are introducing this legislation because we want a childhood where children get to be children. Play, friendships, and everyday life must not be taken over by algorithms and screens.”
@_CatalystX@Pirat_Nation THAT'S THE JOKE. Banning cigarettes is probably going to push youngsters into less-regulated, dodgy avenues to access them. If something is "forbidden", it tends to be more enticing.
@Alexisleom@SpursOfficial It has happened twice before. The only time on sporting merit was Villarreal in 2011-12. It also happened to Juventus in 2005-06, but they were relegated due to the Calciopoli scandal, not due to how bad they were.
