Listening to Superintendent Ron Felsen today. He reminded us that lots of people can learn to talk about equity, but that what really counts is action. If you were part of committees and initiatives, did you attend meetings or did you have an impact? #OISE_PQP
Learning about Ontario Student Records today. I always thought it was some big secret document as a kid, but apparently every student has a right to see their own OSR. I wonder if my in school suspension from grade 7 is still in there? #OISE_PQP
Talking about EQAO today. For every single group of students (based on math EQAO scores in grade 3 and 6), scores were higher for students if they took academic math in grade 9 vs. applied. That's why we're destreaming. #OISE_PQP
Integrity: doing the right thing when no one is looking. When you're a teacher, nobody is looking most of the time, so you best have lots of it. Thanks to Anna-Marie Nielson from the OCT. #OISE_PQP
Why do I want to be an administrator? Because optimism starts at the top: optimism for listening to each other, learning from each other, and collaborating to solving the world's most seemingly intractable problems. #OISE_PQP.
A dotted quarter note is like a note that has an IEP - it get's time and a half. But if time and a half starts before class you need to use a tie to tell you it's before the bar.
