Landlord TDs
A number of landlord TDs failed to register their rental properties with the Residential Tenancies Board, The Sunday Times can reveal. - Patrick O'Donoghue
Gillian Toole, a TD for the Regional Independents Group, owns the third most rental properties of any member of the Dail, with six tenancies listed in the register. However, despite several requests for comment, Toole did not explain why five of these properties were not registered with the #RTB

@MurphyPaule another great investigation . Our Charity Regulator & charities are a joke. Near impossible to get status, but once granted - unchecked.
If only people could wake up & see that their money is diverted from the cause to fill pockets with no consequences.
61 year old Kerry man, crashed into another car, fined €1,300 euro & a 4 year driving ban for NEVER having a License or insurance! Win, for him.
Lets run the gauntlet & never renew insurance, chances of being caught are minimal & fine is far cheaper. @HMcEntee law needs review
@paulmurphy_TD why are you assuming that every landlord is a developer with millions in the bank, wake up, many are accidental landlords with “entitled” tenats who have paid zero rent because of so called protections for “their home” which isn’t actually their home.
@RTE be grand lads, at PAC hearing just do what everyone does, have a short memory & apologise for not knowing the rules/laws & assuming your secretary/advisor did your job.
@Independent_ie Says the man who allowed the UK media to mis-pronounce his name .Having said that, Matts behaviour is akin to a wedding guest using phone when asked not to & liking the brides dress to a meringue mess (in private) while his partner is the one picking his nose in the group photo
