This is the part worth holding onto.
Consumer protection isn’t a culture-war prop.
It’s whether you can challenge an error on your credit report and get a timely response.
It’s whether a lender can trap you with terms that would never survive daylight.
It’s whether enforcement exists at all when powerful companies decide it’s cheaper to break the rules.
That’s why a court ordering continued funding matters.
Not because courts should run agencies.
Because the executive branch shouldn’t be allowed to quietly turn off a lawful watchdog and pretend nothing changed.
If we want a country where rules apply to everyone, we don’t defund enforcement.
We make it honest, competent, and accountable.
BREAKING: As we honor Rob Reiner, let’s remember he was one of the staunchest defenders of immigrants and American democracy. He truly was one of Donald Trump’s biggest foils. Rest in peace, Rob.
@Crazyflix94 @jackunheard The late born boomers were the last to be taught this and other truths aboupompt our world
We watched films of the Holocaust
We were shown what evil men do to innocent people
We understood!
@claystanton21@PeteButtigieg Single payer managed and paid for by OUR taxes
Only way and health care is a right since it is us who support greedy politicians and corporations who want our energy with little return or are we slaves after all?
@hwinkler4real Pepsi is sweet, while coke still has a bit of the tang Coke had years ago in the 50 and 60's
Pepsi is addicting to me but not Coke. Take a sip of Pepsi, and I want more while really not liking the overly sweet taste.
