A Story of Resilience, Gratitude, and New Beginnings

Four years ago, as I was beginning a new life in the United States, during my second year in the country I received support from a remarkable organization called Global Refuge.

With their encouragement and a small loan, I was able to take the first steps toward rebuilding my dream and launching my business, BARG Garments.

Today, it is a tremendous honor for me that Global Refuge has created this short video about my journey and work. The video highlights my story as one example of success among individuals who have benefited from the organization’s support programs. It is not only the story of a business but also a story of resilience, love, faith, hard work, and hope.

This video is not only about my personal journey; it also shows what becomes possible when opportunity, support, and determination come together.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Julian Spath and the Global Refuge team for their kindness and for supporting me along this path.

I would also like to thank the wonderful communities of Virginia, especially Old Town Alexandria, for their encouragement and support throughout this journey.

Above all, I thank God for guiding my steps in this new chapter of life.
