Birmingham Rep is thrilled to announce that Joe Murphy (@joelukemurphy1) will join us as our new Artistic Director in Spring 2025.
Currently Joe is the Artistic Director of the @ShermanTheatre in Cardiff. One of the brightest directors of his generation, Joe’s stage career has included work with The RSC; Old Vic, Shakespeare’s Globe, The Bush Theatre, Soho Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre.
At The Rep, Joe will lead an artistic team including @MadeleineKludje, as newly appointed Deputy Artistic Director, and Iqbal Khan (@IqqyKhan) who is re-appointed as Associate Director.
