Result - Before our 3-3 draw with @barkingfc U23's away last night, we faced @SportingBengal away on Tuesday 7th July - losing 2-0 there. A penalty on 40 mins and a goal on 84 mins winning it for Bengal who we wish well in their league campaign. #CmonSide 👏

Result - 'Side drew 3-3 away at @barkingfc U23's last night in a highly entertaining clash. We fought back from 2-0 down with Kai Haysman scoring twice for us. A good workout for the squad. #CmonSide 👏

Result - 'Side started their Pre-season campaign yesterday with a 2-0 loss to @westessexfc away yesterday. It was a good workout for the lads as we look to build momentum before our league season starts. #CmonSide 👏

Today - Our Preseason starts today as we face @westessexfc away. Fittingly they have signed this week @archiehammond who was outstanding for us in midfield creating and scoring for fun (like Bruno Fernandes) a few years ago. Let's hope we can start well today. #CmonSide 👏

Question - Aside from the obvious for us - Sir Jimmy Greaves, who played for us in early 1950s as a youngster - which players have played for @IsthmianLeague @EssexSenior and @ThurlowNunnL clubs who have played at a #FIFAWorldCup 🏆 - there's got to be a few surely?

Rest In Peace - We were saddened to learn last week of the passing of former club stalwart Keith Harris, who
played youth football for us in the mid 1970's before breaking into the reserves and first-team. Keith was also a former Chairman of the club. https://t.co/qlpaquKH1G

Happy Birthday - Everyone at Barkingside would like to wish vice chairman Roger Chilvers a happy 80th birthday. Roger does so much for the club and is well known and liked within local circles in and around London football. Happy birthday Roger! 🎂
