@sonyabladesbf They went for a unique visual style, that's for sure. It's not for everyone. I really like it, it's refreshing. I think it's one of the better-looking cbms, there are definitely better, though.
@sonyabladesbf The scenes you picked stills of definitely aren't the highlights of the film, but I think they look fine. And I like the way most of the movie looks.
@sonyabladesbf Those hyper close-ups of Engineer, etc. give me a feeling of kinetic action that's more immersive in the film. It's not necessarily meant to look "pretty". And there are plenty of individual frames that are supposed to (and do) look good in the film, like with any movie.
@sonyabladesbf Well first of all I disagree that it's ugly, and I know many (if not most) agree. I don't know what you were *supposed* to do, I'm just saying that these frames specifically weren't meant to look "good" as frames. They look good in movement. (cont.)
@lerthedc@LinkofSunshine Nah iirc the point wasn't that there was a "real" after-life, it was that they made the decision to move on into non-existence
@MinuteNerdNews "I never had an intention of writing or directing The Authority"
That's not what he's saying. Someone else wrote a script, one which wasn't quite there, and also didn't fit within the larger DCU
