@DSProudfoot@OurCommons Technically, *not* “the parliamentary” but the “Commons’”account. The Senate and GG have their own respective accounts. There is no account for all three.
@OurCommons Royal Assent is no more ‘ceremonial’ than third reading is in either House. And the PM advises, he/she does not appoint. Next thing you know you’ll be calling the HoC ‘Parliament’.
@hjluks If you google certain tendon issues - for me, the Achilles - a variety of ads find their way to you in seconds. What is the respective therapeutic value of; red light therapy, shockwave therapy, DMSO salve, axis boards, hyaluronic acid injections, compression contraptions, etc?
@MikePMoffatt Prohibitive costs and lack of choice/access to retirement residences, care homes, and long term care homes also a driver. Not to mention ‘blindness’ of some seniors to the need to downsize.
@CallumFraser18 Once you filter for injuries, and weird goaltending, does this team drive, control, and dominate play enough to have sustained success against the better placed teams?
@LeftHandStu@ThomasHall17@TheHillTimes The question isn’t if they can record, it is how they record. If they branch into the feed with their equipment, that should be fine. If they use an open microphone, they can (in)advertently capture private conversations not on the record.
@stphnmaher@ThomasHall17 As Thomas observes, it is to prevent against live mics picking up private conversations - whether between committee members or those in the gallery. There is zero intent to obstruct coverage.
@stphnmaher@ThomasHall17 The Senate Rule is the same: 14-7. (2) Public proceedings in any committee may be recorded or broadcast, but only through the use of audio facilities that are installed for that purpose in a committee room, subject to such arrangements with the Clerk as may be necessary.
