Last week BSO had its first #COVIDsafe rehearsal at the spacious Hampstead Garden Suburb Free Church!
Yesterday our II Violin section got inspired by this and gathered for a safe socially distanced sectional in #NW3 to play some #Mozart
We’re happy to be back in action safely 😷
Happy 1st of September! 📚🎶
Dear members and listeners of BSO, hope you have had a wonderful summer!
We are missing playing music together and planning how to do this hopefully very soon in the safest possible… https://t.co/GU75Y21W2H
Our second zoom meeting! Thought we’d say hello to the rest of the world!
This time it was a quiz night and here is one of the questions for you:
What do both City of London and Violas have in common?
Hermione has got it right and is now our quiz queen of the week, well done!🥰👏
Melody is out now: https://t.co/wZSNneno1w
I wrote this tune a while back, inspired by folk music I love listening to. I never intended to release it but felt now would be a good time to share it. I hope it might encourage people to try something new and express their creativity.
How are you?
It is important to stay in touch these days, with your friends, family and fellow musicians! Therefore Barnet Symphony Orchestra is organising a #zoom get together-sectionals for its members on 20th of April
Stay at home and stay safe

We are sorry to announce that tomorrow’s performance has been postponed.😔🎶
It was not an easy decision, but perhaps the only right thing to do to keep everyone safe.
Please take care, wash your hands, help to those in need and we hope to see you at our next concerts again soon
Brilliant rehearsal last night with @BarnetSymphony@Chiyan_Wong on Emperor Concerto. Have loved this piece for almost 2 decades! Concert on Sunday should be pretty special🎶🎶
We cannot wait to perform with our fantastic soloists - Jasmine Adrian-Dawson and @Chiyan_Wong
Programme: Manuel de Falla “el Amor Brujo”, Ludwig van Beethoven Piano Concerto No 5 and two surprise encores!
Conductor: @ollietill

This is only a little taster of BSO rehearsing de Falla’s “el Amor Brujo”.

Yessss, it is Friday and about the time to take a break. Ask yourself, are you getting enough rest?
Resting is just as important as practicing in order to stay active and productive. Therefore do not feel guilty for… https://t.co/RKj3DJyVJl
