@TomasORuanaidh Why wouldn’t all games be televised on one channel or another? To send Cork to Donegal for a 3pm game on a Saturday is a disgrace for logistics for amateur players and the game isn’t even televised. Is there anyone in touch with reality that makes these fixtures?
@MarkMcDonnell5@EoinSheahan@TomasORuanaidh It was a fairly big talking point which directly involved McGuinness, fairly straight forward thing to ask him about it. Not asking him about it would have been negligent of a journalist covering the game in that scenario.
@OMathuna89@Kenneth38930663 If there’s no jeopardy, when why are Waterford knocked out?😂 There is 40% jeopardy and Waterford find themselves in it every year. Yet you want them to be involved for an All Ireland? Make sense of that. They’re not good enough. Get into the top 3 & earn it. You want a handout!
@SmallerFishGAA They’ve come last in a group of 5 where 3 go through. The margins might be fine but you can’t just carry everyone through the year and play endless games without knocking teams out. If you can’t get yourself into the top 3 spots from 5, what chance would have they of All Ireland?
@OMathuna89@WaterfordGAA There’s 3 spots from 5 up for grabs. If you can’t get into one of them spots then what business have they in the conversation for an All Ireland?
@Elliotnew1905@GurugardenerNz You cover the bet by backing the draw with a chunk of the potential winnings and create a win/win situation for yourself. Anyone cashing out instead of hedging the bet hasn’t a clue how to bet.
@SmallerFishGAA Infairness the system of the game ending dead on the hooter whilst the clock runs after every foul isn’t right. His point is completely valid. I think the stop-clock works to prevent refs giving liberties with added time but ball should have to go dead to end the game.
There’s no luck involved in this defeat. Tonight is what happens when you have a player playing left wing back with a brain that is powered by a hamster running on a wheel. Sometimes the hamster gets tired, the wheel stops and he goes braindead!
@JohnDugganSport Fuck it John, Czechia are shit. They lumped the ball forward from the 46th min onwards as if it was the 90th minute. We win that with a bit to spare if Manning doesn’t lose the plot and give away one of the brainless penalties you’ll ever see. Handed over initiative there & then.
@JackSear A good way to win games is actually trying to win the game from the first minute. Not fucking around for 80 mins, being passive, leaving the opposition in the game to sucker punch you and then firing every attacker on in disorganised chaos.
Fair play to Dingle and Brigids for delivering another game and especially final for the ages. Probably not a coincidence that the best games don’t include northern teams, who are intent on killing the spectacle with too much tactics. #GAABeo
@SmallerFishGAA Can’t attack if you don’t have the ball. Can’t get the ball if you don’t press out to opposition while they casually play it around. They underestimated An Gaeltacht’s ability to play a controlled game and got taught a lesson.
@EverythingGAA20@SmallerFishGAA It’s definitely the problem. They were passive, allowed AG to control the game all through and pick their moments to score. As a result they hardly got a sniff of the ball themselves and when they did, they were jittery as they’d gone long periods without it.
@Denis_Hurley Bit of a joke really, some will say it’s the same for both teams but skillsets aren’t the same for all teams. Surely easier to draw up an arc on it than open themselves up to debate about it too. Thanks for that anyway.
@SmallerFishGAA Ref was very poor all game, especially for Dingle in general in what was a brilliant spectacle but for the game to be decided by that is sickening. Refs have more power than they know what to do with!
