🚨 Koeman questions Real Madrid's transfer strategy after Bernardo Silva pursuit
🗣️: "Barcelona should never beg any player to join the club. If a player truly understands what Barça represents, the decision is easy. The badge, the history, the style of football, that should be enough.
I also find it strange how Real Madrid seem to be following Barcelona's transfer list these days. First it was Dumfries, then Gvardiol, then Julian Alvarez, and now Bernardo Silva. At some point you have to ask whether they are building their own project or simply reacting to Barcelona's plans.
If Bernardo Silva is hesitating because Madrid are offering more money, then Barcelona are absolutely right to move on. Barça need players who believe in the project, not players who are comparing bank accounts.
Johan Cruyff said it perfectly: 'If someone hesitates to play for Barça, then we don't need them.' That mentality made Barcelona great. The club should focus on players who are committed from day one.
If Bernardo chooses Madrid, good luck to him. Barcelona already have quality players in his position. What surprises me more is Madrid's growing obsession with Barcelona's targets. A club of that size should have its own vision, not spend every summer chasing the same players Barcelona are trying to sign."
@FabrizioRomano Atletico Madrid are very unprofessional and childish— Barcelona should move on because signing Alvarez will be difficult unless the Argentine is ready to force it
@TrollFootball2 Since Messi won that World Cup, everything Ronaldo wins looks like World Cup trophy to him, he really wants that trophy badly or at least get it diluted in terms of relevance
