Refugee learners in Dadaab and Kakuma are sitting for this year’s national exams.
From aspiring doctors to teachers, they’ve worked hard for this moment - each exam a step toward the future they dream of.

Our hearts were deeply moved by the tenacity and relentless drive of the young learners we met in schools across rural Kenya. Their unwavering quest for knowledge is now supercharged, thanks to @Starlink, unlocking open access to information, empowering them to think freely, and be part of an inspiring future as change-makers for the benefit of humanity.

The "Instant Network School" programme was set up in 2013 by @VodafoneFdn and @Refugees, to give young refugees and host communities and their teachers access to digital learning content and the internet.

@UNHCR_Kenya is working with @EduMinKenya supporting onboarding of #refugee learners into Kenya Education Information Management System (KEMIS). As part, a capacity-building training for all stakeholders was conducted from Sept 24-26 in #Dadaab.
