In this YouTube video, I share my perspective on the senatorial agreement and the circumstances surrounding what I consider a betrayal by GSM after he received the party’s support.
It would be painful to see people choose political noise over meaningful impact when leadership should be measured by the positive difference it makes in people's lives.
— Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi
People should not be deceived by showy politics. Too many politicians spend heavily on mobilisation while making promises they have no intention of keeping. Politics is not about noise, grand displays or showbiz.
I believe in listening, engaging and exchanging ideas with everyone, regardless of their background or social status. My goal is to serve all and address the needs of every individual at the point where government can make the greatest difference in their lives.

I do not consider myself more special than the people I serve. Too often, the poor and struggling are marginalised, while too much attention is given to the educated and the elite, as though the ordinary people do not matter.
Government exists for every indigene and resident of the state. No group is more important than another.
My doors are open to both the educated and those who have been deprived of education.
Today, I attended Jumat prayers at Surulere Central Mosque, Bodija Market, Ibadan, and also visited and interacted with traders in the Bodija Market.
May Almighty Allah accept our prayers, bless the work of our hands, and continue to grant peace and prosperity to Oyo State.
Chief Dan Osi Orbih’s passing is a great loss to his loved ones and the PDP family. May God grant his family and all who mourn him the strength to bear this irreparable loss, and may his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
On Saturday, 10th October 2026, I attended the final burial ceremony of our dear friend, brother, and party leader, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, the PDP National Vice Chairman, South, in Edo State.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike; the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); the National Working Committee (NWC); his immediate family; and all members of our great party on this painful loss.
The journey continues, and I remain committed to sharing my vision and engaging with the people of Oyo State every step of the way.
A new chapter for Oyo State begins with informed citizens, meaningful participation, and a shared commitment to our future.

Every engagement, every conversation, and every community we have visited has strengthened my resolve to serve the people of Oyo State.
From meeting with stakeholders and community leaders to engaging with the media and listening directly to the concerns of our people,
I have continued to learn, listen, and understand what our people expect from leadership.
My message remains simple: Oyo State deserves leadership that listens, plans, and puts the interests of its people at the centre of governance.
To every teacher across Oyo State and Nigeria, thank you for the work you do. Your impact goes far beyond the classroom, and your contribution to our society can never be overstated.
Happy Teachers’ Day. May your dedication continue to inspire generations. 🙏🏽

Happy Teachers’ Day! 📚
Today, I celebrate the teachers who dedicate their time, patience, knowledge and love to shaping the minds that will build our tomorrow.
I understand that no society can truly progress without investing in the people who educate and inspire its future.
