This Thursday at 12pm, we will be hosting a zoom session exclusively for Personal Assistants. Come and join us for a brew, and tell us what being a PA in lockdown is like. To join email: [email protected].

We love hearing feedback from local professionals. A colleague from education states: The service offered to families is absolutely invaluable. The support is flexible and wide ranging and often helps to fill in some of the gaps in support that other services don't cover.

@KateAlvanley @LGAWellbeing @ADPHUK The app is referring to our contact, and hasn’t updated to take into account a positive test which it did acknowledge was positive

[Joanne @Barrow2David]

@KateAlvanley @LGAWellbeing @ADPHUK Am a #Wigan resident, have just updated app with my positive test code. Luckily I’ve spent the last 7 months #shielding with my son ( also positive) so I know this is wrong #TrackandTrace

We have been asked by a parent to share a petition regarding continence pads. We believe that new designs which cater to people of all sizes would make a significant difference. To sign click here:

"Absolutely fantastic training, lots of knowledge & gave a whole new perception of what makes a good PA. Highly recommend training from them" - Attendee

Mum's praise for Wigan pub that opened early so she could safely have meal with her terminally ill son https://t.co/iv3LVwk8Pi

[Community Children’s Nurses @CareCcn]

Incredibly disappointed that there is no call for a rapid review of guidance around #AGPdiscriminstion with only reference to building works and PPE. None of that would be needed if children were treated with #equality

Tomorrow we will be at the Made in Wigan Shop in the town centre. We'll be hosting our LGBTQ+ drop in session and craft fair for the Busy Bee's. Come down and see us from 12pm - 3pm.

@RuT2TMason @CareCcn @WeSchoolNurses @CNOEngland Yes, I’m really concerned about this, there is so much more support in the paediatric and education system

[Joanne @Barrow2David]

@CareCcn @WeSchoolNurses @CNOEngland A lot to take in your own home 😢

[Joanne @Barrow2David]

@CareCcn @WeSchoolNurses @CNOEngland Not to forget young adults with trachy and vent over the age of 18 who aren’t in full time education, but who are still affected by PPE requirements which has the potential to marginalise them from the rest of society 😔

[Joanne @Barrow2David]

@CareCcn @PHE_uk @WeLDnurses Tom has a Personal Health Budget & whilst we are glad to have the correct PPE, after months of shielding , this isn’t what I ever expected would be worn in our own home. If there was ever a case for regular targeted testing, I feel these are the circumstances it should be done

@embracewandl has been such a fantastic support to Tom throughout the #lockdown whilst he was #shielding he’s loved meeting up at mesnes park #Wigan

[Embrace @embracewandl]

Tom has been shielding over the past few months, however, we have kept in touch through our digital cooking and craft sessions. We love this picture as Tom was able to reunite with us at our dog walks. This took a lot of courage after being at home for so long. Well done Tom.
