We are hosting our Open Evening on Thursday 9th November from 6:30pm to 9pm.

...As well as the 96% of students who have achieved the grades to take up their university offers we also have students taking on lots of different apprenticeship opportunities.

The students we have highlighted here today represent a small selection of the brilliant achievements made by Barrow Hall College students this year. 1/2
Muntazir has been awarded Distinctions in both Applied Science and Health and Social Care. These great grades will see him study Biology at Manchester Metropolitan University!
An excellent 3 A's in History, Sociology and RS will see Dylan study History at the University of Sussex whilst Laura has a brilliant B,C, B in Sociology, RS, Art & Design and will be undertaking an Art Foundation at Priestley college!
Micheal had outstanding results of A* in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and an A in Biology. He will be progressing to Imperial College, London to study Chemical Engineering.
Georgia will be achieving her goal of studying Marine Biology, with B and C in Biology and Chemistry she will be attending Bangor University in September!
It has been a fantastic morning for Barrow Hall College students celebrating their A Level and BTEC results. Students have achieved some brilliant grades across the whole curriculum.

Year 12 Biology students have spent 3 days in Wales completing field studies in ecological sampling. They investigated freshwater invertebrates, woodland plant species and distribution of organisms on a rocky shore.
Thanks to everyone who attended BHC Book Club.
We had a thought provoking discussion around our individual interpretations of The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
