Holker Street as it stands today....memories for me of living on the estate behind the railway lines and walking through hearing the bikes and that wonderful smell as the excitement mounted to going watch the HAPPY FACES and BOMBERS....Happy Days.

Something people in Barrow and the Speedway world won't know ....that land next to Holker St was mentioned for a new track....a few years back
To close to a wildlife area and houses behind the football ground to get planning approval.
