AMERICANS: THE BORDER DOESN'T END AT THE BORDER.
Follow the consequences all the way to your front door.
The 2021–23 immigration surge meant:
• $19.3B additional direct state/local spending in 2023
• $9.2B direct net state/local fiscal cost
• 550,000 additional public-school students
• $5.7B additional direct K–12 spending
• $1.2B for additional English-language/support services
• $3.3B spent by just NY, MA, IL & CO on shelter and related services
And CBO says the greatest upward price pressure from the immigration surge was on HOUSING.
That's the connection people miss.
BORDER → POPULATION → HOUSING → SCHOOLS → SERVICES → STATE/LOCAL BUDGETS → YOUR COMMUNITY.
Then add another layer:
FEDERAL POLICY determines who enters and who is removable.
CONGRESS determines immigration law and funding.
STATES determine enormous amounts of spending and eligibility policy.
CITIES determine many policing, shelter and cooperation policies.
That's why immigration can look completely different in Texas, New York, California or Florida - or even between two cities in the same state.
The border isn't some distant line in Texas or Arizona.
It eventually reaches your rent.
Your child's classroom.
Your local services.
Your city budget.
Your taxes.
Your neighborhood.
That's why border policy matters thousands of miles away from the border.
Vote Red up and down the ballot to ensure the good work is maintained.
House Democrats keep putting it on the record. Believe the votes.
Of roughly 212 House Democrats:
➡️ 212 of 212 voted AGAINST the tax package that included No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, No Tax on Social Security, a doubled Child Tax Credit, and Trump Accounts for kids
➡️ 212 of 212 voted AGAINST the $70 billion border / ICE / CBP funding bill
➡️ 213 voted AGAINST the SAVE America Act (proof of citizenship to vote). Only 1 Democrat voted yes
➡️ 208 of 212 voted AGAINST the original SAVE Act / voter ID bill. Only 4 Democrats voted yes
➡️ 206 voted AGAINST keeping men out of girls’ sports. Only 2 Democrats voted yes
➡️ 205 voted AGAINST locking the Supreme Court at 9 justices. Only 1 Democrat voted yes
➡️ 203 voted AGAINST banning biological males from girls’ sports. Only 5 Democrats voted yes
➡️ 201 voted AGAINST the Kayla Hamilton Act tightening screening of unaccompanied migrant minors. Only 7 Democrats voted yes
➡️ 198 voted AGAINST the Stop Insider Trading Act. Only 13 Democrats voted yes
➡️ 198 voted AGAINST requiring parental consent before schools change a child’s gender records. Only 8 Democrats voted yes
➡️ 194 voted AGAINST ending D.C.’s sanctuary policy
➡️ 192 voted AGAINST a resolution condemning socialism. Only 8 Democrats voted yes
➡️ 159 of 212 voted AGAINST the Laken Riley Act requiring detention of illegal immigrants charged with theft. 48 Democrats voted yes
The pattern is not complicated.
On taxes, the border, voter ID, girls’ sports, the Court, parental rights, and congressional stock trading, almost the entire Democratic caucus voted no.
A handful of names keep crossing - Cuellar, Golden, Gluesenkamp Perez, Davis, Gonzalez. The rest of the caucus voted as a bloc.
That is the record. The roll call.
So in what world would ANY SANE AMERICAN read this list, go to the Congress website to verify and then sit out the midterms?
REPOST this so it can reach the masses.
@EricLDaugh Every day I see examples of, “you can’t fix stupid “ or “you can’t win an argument against a stupid person.” @nickshirleyy keep going I appreciate you.
I’ve been dreading telling my friends and family that I’ll be voting for Trump in this coming election.
There was no way for me to explain it to them without them being horrified.
So I made this video, which tries to explain how liberals like me have ended up here:
🚨 I THINK PEOPLE ARE MISSING THE MUCH BIGGER STORY BETWEEN PRESIDENT TRUMP AND CANADA.
Forget individual refinery headlines for a moment.
Step back.
Canada has enjoyed an extraordinary position in the American energy market.
In 2025, Canada supplied 63.4% of ALL U.S. crude oil imports - roughly 3.9 MILLION barrels every single day.
And roughly 90% of Canada's crude exports went to America.
Think about what that means.
America depends heavily on Canadian oil.
But Canada depends even MORE heavily on having America as its customer.
That relationship has given Canada an incredibly valuable, secure market directly across its border.
Now look at what is changing.
🇻🇪 VENEZUELA IS COMING BACK INTO THE AMERICAN ENERGY SYSTEM.
U.S. imports of Venezuelan crude went from roughly:
January: 200,000 barrels/day
June: 630,000 barrels/day
And preliminary September data have reached as high as 782,000 barrels/day.
That's an enormous increase in months.
And here's the part people need to understand:
Venezuela doesn't just have a lot of oil.
It has enormous quantities of HEAVY crude.
Guess what Canada sells America?
A LOT OF HEAVY CRUDE.
Guess what many sophisticated American refineries were specifically designed to process?
HEAVY CRUDE.
So Venezuela doesn't simply give America "more oil."
It potentially gives American refiners something far more strategically important:
ANOTHER SUPPLIER.
That's competition.
And competition changes leverage.
Now zoom out even further.
America has enormous shale production.
Canada has enormous oil-sands production.
Venezuela has the world's largest proven oil reserves.
Guyana is rapidly becoming another major producer.
Brazil continues expanding offshore production.
Mexico remains deeply connected to the American energy system.
And sitting in the middle of all of it is the United States with one of the world's most sophisticated refining, pipeline, storage, financial and export systems.
THAT is the bigger picture I believe is emerging.
President Trump isn't simply trying to get "cheap oil."
He appears to be helping build something far more strategically powerful:
🇺🇸 A WESTERN HEMISPHERE ENERGY SYSTEM WITH AMERICA AT ITS CENTER.
Not dependent on ONE country.
Not dependent on ONE oil field.
Not dependent on ONE shipping lane.
And increasingly less exposed to ONE geopolitical chokepoint halfway around the world.
That's why I believe people are looking at the Canada fight too narrowly.
Prime Minister Mark Carney is simultaneously trying to reduce Canada's dependence on America and deepen Canada's relationship with Europe.
That's happening RIGHT NOW.
Carney has openly called for deeper Canada-EU cooperation in energy, critical minerals, defense, AI and other strategic industries.
Meanwhile President Trump is applying enormous trade pressure on Canada.
So look at this as a chessboard rather than another daily political headline.
Canada wants alternatives to America.
America is developing alternatives to Canada.
Canada is expanding its ability to ship oil toward Asia through Trans Mountain.
America is reopening access to Venezuelan heavy crude.
Chevron is expanding in Venezuela.
Exxon is reportedly negotiating its own return.
American companies are moving back into one of the greatest concentrations of oil reserves on Earth.
THAT changes the negotiating environment.
And here's the important distinction:
I don't think America needs to "replace" Canadian oil.
That would actually miss the point.
Canada is an enormously valuable, reliable and geographically convenient energy partner.
What America needs is OPTIONS.
Canada.
Venezuela.
Guyana.
Brazil.
Mexico.
Domestic American production.
Multiple producers competing for access to the world's biggest economy and its massive refining system.
Because when your country has multiple suppliers, no single supplier owns the leverage.
And when producers compete for American refinery demand, America gains negotiating power.
Meanwhile the Middle East becomes less capable of holding the American economy hostage to events thousands of miles away.
THAT may ultimately be what President Trump is creating.
Not American dependence on Venezuelan oil.
Not American dependence on Canadian oil.
Not American dependence on Middle Eastern oil.
AMERICAN ENERGY OPTIONALITY.
A Western Hemisphere energy powerhouse with the United States sitting at the center of production, refining, capital, infrastructure and consumption.
Canada can sell to Asia.
Venezuela can sell elsewhere.
Brazil can sell elsewhere.
That's free markets.
But they all have to compete.
And competition destroys monopolistic leverage.
That is the story underneath the headlines that I think deserves FAR more attention.
The fight with Canada may ultimately be about much more than tariffs.
It may be part of a fundamental restructuring of who has leverage over the American economy for the next generation. 🇺🇸
To help the administration out, here’s President Trump’s 2024 agenda explained with NUMBERS, RESULTS and the WHY behind what has or hasn’t happened yet.
1. BORDER & DEPORTATIONS
PROMISE: Seal the border + largest deportation operation in U.S. history.
• Border crossings down dramatically from Biden-era peaks
• Deportations running at roughly 1,000+ per day during stronger enforcement periods
• Tens of thousands of immigration arrests in single months
• Millions still remain inside the country illegally
STATUS:
✅ Border transformed.
🟡 Mass deportation continuing.
WHY NOT FINISHED?
Because removing 11M+ people is not simply a Presidential order.
It requires:
• ICE agents
• detention beds
• immigration judges
• transportation
• cooperation from foreign governments
• billions in funding
• due process through roughly 3.7M backlogged immigration cases
The administration can accelerate enforcement, but physically processing millions of people takes YEARS.
2. INFLATION & AFFORDABILITY
PROMISE: End inflation and make America affordable again.
Current inflation:
• CPI: about 3.4%
• Core inflation: about 2.5%
• Federal Reserve target: 2%
STATUS: 🔴 NOT finished.
WHY?
Because inflation is affected by more than the White House.
The President does NOT directly control:
• Federal Reserve interest rates
• global oil prices
• wars
• shipping costs
• housing shortages
• weather-related food shocks
• private-sector pricing
Tariffs can also increase some import prices in the short term.
And remember:
Lower inflation does NOT mean prices fall back to 2021 levels.
It means prices rise MORE SLOWLY.
3. ENERGY
PROMISE: Drill, baby, drill. Lower energy prices dramatically.
U.S. oil production:
• 2024: about 13.2M barrels/day
• 2025: about 13.6M
• 2026: around 13.8M
• 2027 projection: around 14.2M
America remains one of the largest energy producers on Earth.
STATUS:
✅ Production promise largely delivered.
🔴 $2 gasoline not delivered.
WHY?
Because American production is only ONE part of the global oil market.
Gas prices also depend on:
• Iran and Middle East conflict
• OPEC decisions
• global demand
• refinery capacity
• transportation costs
• state taxes
• seasonal fuel requirements
A President can increase supply.
He cannot dictate the world oil price.
4. TARIFFS & MANUFACTURING
PROMISE: Protect American industry and bring manufacturing back.
Average U.S. tariff levels have increased sharply.
Estimated tariff revenue over the next decade could reach roughly:
$1–2 TRILLION, depending on future policy.
But estimates also suggest tariffs can cost the average household roughly:
$1,000+ annually through higher prices.
STATUS: 🟡 Long-term strategy underway.
WHY THE SHORT-TERM PAIN?
Because tariffs intentionally make foreign goods MORE expensive.
The theory is:
Foreign imports become less competitive → companies build in America → domestic supply chains grow → U.S. jobs and industrial capacity increase.
But factories take YEARS to build.
So consumers can feel higher prices BEFORE they see the full manufacturing benefit.
5. TAXES
PROMISE: No tax on tips. No tax on overtime. Tax relief for seniors. Extend Trump tax cuts.
Current relief includes:
• Tips deduction: up to $25,000
• Overtime deduction: up to $12,500 individual / $25,000 married
• Senior deduction: up to $6,000
• Most major individual Trump tax cuts extended
STATUS: ✅ Major delivery.
But Social Security itself was NOT completely made tax-free.
WHY?
Because Presidents cannot rewrite the tax code alone.
Congress has to pass it and you all know where the roadblocks are.
And completely removing Social Security taxation would also reduce federal revenue at a time when Social Security and Medicare already face long-term funding pressure.
6. GOVERNMENT SIZE
PROMISE: Shrink Washington, cut waste and reduce bureaucracy.
Federal civilian workforce began around:
2.4 MILLION workers
Roughly:
300,000 departures were projected during the first major downsizing wave.
That is about:
12.5% of the workforce.
STATUS: ✅ Workforce reductions underway.
But...
U.S. national debt is now above:
$40 TRILLION.
WHY HASN’T THE DEBT COLLAPSED?
Because federal employees are only a fraction of total government spending.
The biggest spending categories include:
• Social Security
• Medicare
• Medicaid
• defense
• interest on the debt
Cutting bureaucrats can reduce costs.
It cannot solve a $40T debt problem by itself.
Congress must eventually address mandatory spending, revenue or BOTH.
7. JOBS & WAGES
Recent numbers:
• Jobs added: roughly 162,000 in August
• Unemployment: around 4.1%
• Wages: about +3.1% year-over-year
STATUS: 🟢 Labor market holding up.
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
Because tariffs, immigration enforcement, AI, high interest rates and government restructuring are all major economic shocks happening AT THE SAME TIME.
The real test is whether America can restructure the economy without producing a major unemployment spike.
So far, that has not happened.
8. UKRAINE
PROMISE: End the Russia-Ukraine war extremely quickly.
Russia invaded in:
February 2022
It is now:
September 2026
The war is approaching 5 years.
STATUS: 🔴 The 24-hour promise was NOT delivered.
WHY?
Because ending a war requires BOTH sides to accept a deal.
President Trump controls America.
He does NOT control:
• Putin
• Zelensky
• Russia's territorial demands
• Ukrainian public opinion
• NATO
• European governments
• battlefield conditions
America has enormous leverage.
But leverage is not absolute control.
9. MIDDLE EAST
PROMISE: Restore peace and avoid endless new wars.
Conflict involving Iran has now significantly disrupted energy markets and regional stability.
STATUS: 🔴 Outcome has fallen short of the original promise.
WHY?
Because foreign policy is reactive as well as proactive.
A President can choose American policy.
If you all can recall, President Trump started with negotiations and attempts to strike a deal with Europe and the Middle East including Iran. He doesn't have forever to deal with these issues, so force had to be used to finish up the restructuring.
He cannot completely control:
• Iran
• Israel
• Hamas
• Hezbollah
• regional militias
• attacks on U.S. forces
• unexpected escalations
This is exactly why campaign promises about ending wars on precise timelines are extremely difficult to guarantee and initiating new ones are based on different geopolitical conditions.
So roughly 20 MONTHS into President Trump’s second term:
✅ Border transformed
✅ Tax relief delivered
✅ Oil production near record levels
✅ DEI/regulatory rollback
✅ Federal workforce reduced
🟡 Mass deportation continuing
🟡 Manufacturing reshoring continuing
🟡 Tariff strategy still playing out
🟡 Government restructuring continuing
🔴 Inflation still above 2%
🔴 $2 gasoline not delivered
🔴 Ukraine not ended
🔴 Middle East conflict continues
🔴 Federal debt above $40 TRILLION
And this is the part Americans need to understand:
A CAMPAIGN PROMISE is the destination.
Getting there depends on:
THE PRESIDENT + CONGRESS + COURTS + MONEY + TIME + MARKETS + FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS.
President Trump deserves credit where the numbers show progress.
He deserves criticism where the numbers show failure.
But Americans should also understand WHY some promises can happen in 24 hours...
while others require 4, 8 or even 10 YEARS of consistent policy.
That is the real scoreboard.
Imagine a world where President Trump had to be honest about all these.
I want you to step back and imagine what the media, the Democrats, the Markets, other world leaders and the Globalists would do with the administration's honesty all throughout his term.
The words and messaging from the White House has so much weight.
So.......
The most important thing to understand is that President Trump promised to Make America Great Again and he is working every single day to make that happen.
We've lost our damn minds.
The Lindsay Clancy mass psychosis proves that a lot of people need to have their Wifi taken away. But this psychosis started many years before TikTok...
This is fitting. Dolly Parton is American royalty.
She easily could've been a billionaire, but she just kept giving away her money. She gave over $600M to charity, without any fanfare. When Gatlinburg got decimated by wildfires, she didn't give to an NPO...she paid $1,000 a month directly to families who lost their homes, totaling over $12M in direct cash aid to the victims. She also paid 100% of the tuition & books for the kids of any of her 11K employees. Dolly was the ultimate icon of American greatness: be great so you can do great.
She simultaneously built a formidable business empire, and fostered a universally-beloved reputation that spans every clique in America. I've literally never heard a single disparaging word about Dolly from anyone. I know everyone will try to "claim" her for their pet political issue, or whatever...but she transcended politics and petty partisanship her entire life, and we should honor that now that God has called her home. She was just a genuine blessing to our country, and perhaps the best example of what an American should aspire to be. Faithful. Great. Prolific. Kind. Generous. Humble.

Your heart should breaking as you read this. Because you all need to realize something about Usha Vance Karoline Leavitt Jennifer Hegseth and Jeanette Rubio These four women right now are each carrying something that most people will never fully understand. Usha Vance pregnant with her fourth child baby boy coming in July and JD chose no formal leave. She is home. Alone. Counting the days. While her husband carries America. Karoline Leavitt who stood at the most powerful podium in America for 39 weeks pregnant never missed a single day. Came back to work four days after having baby Niko. And today holds baby Vivi knowing another briefing is always just around the corner. Jennifer Hegseth who holds seven children together every single time Pete boards that plane. Every deployment. Every trip. Every morning the kids ask where dad is. She answers. Alone. And Jeanette Rubio who has watched her husband cross three continents in one week away from her away from their children for a country that may never fully know her name.
Four women. Four completely different sacrifices. One identical truth. They never asked America to see them. They never posted about what it costs. They never once made it about themselves. They just held everything together. Quietly. Completely. So their husbands could hold America. And today we just need every American to stop for one moment. And say something these four women have waited too long to hear. Thank you. Not for your husbands. For you. For everything you carry that nobody films.
God cover Usha. Cover Karoline. Cover Jennifer. Cover Jeanette. And remind every one of them America sees you. Even on the days it forgets to say it. Make sure to repost this today. Because these women deserve to be seen.
