Hello Twitter, did you know that Washburn Rural as some players on their boy’s junior varsity soccer team that has spewed a racial slur at both Topeka West and Topeka High this season? Yes...the “N Word” and yes not totally shocked by this.

Hey Twitter....have you ever seen a coach quit coaching during a game? Like in a 40 minute half of soccer and they just stop coaching the last 15-20 minutes? Just go talk to another coach?

[TopekaHighBarstool @Barstool_THS]

Topeka West varsity boys soccer team actually beat ours! They wanted it more and it seemed like our boys over looked them. When the upperclassmen look like they don’t care that sends the wrong message to the younger ones. Lead or get outta the way. 2-1 loss... 🤦‍♂️

Highschool boys soccer: freshman makes varsity, plays decent amount first game, 2nd game begging to play a half of JV because he didn’t get enough time and goes 0-13 shots on goal??? Took time from other kids worrying about yo damn self. #Teamsport coach should have said no

Part 2: Saw the legend @Laroonmurray at the game catching some of her lil bro’s games and with her the ever so legendary @nevaeh_edwards6 and @akstewart7 a fellow Butler Grizzly with Ms. Murray. Still reppin T-HIGH!

[TopekaHighBarstool @Barstool_THS]

This Twitter is still active! Time to talk soccer...yes I know this was primarily about girls basketball, but we’re diverse. Boys JV dropped their game 2-0 against Lawrence(they’re kinda DB’s) but showed why the future is bright! Varsity lost 6-0, tough fight! Saw the legend
