We are excited to share the Close Before You Doze prop at our Open House on October 14th. Here, you’ll be able to see in person the importance of closing the door before you go to sleep.
We hope to see you next Saturday!
This week our companies participated in Live Fire Training on our training ground. Thank you to Streamwood and Fox River Countryside for joining us! We train hard to protect our communities.
Congratulations to our State Champion Emma from Bartlett High School! Bartlett Fire & PD were honored to provide an escort through town. Our community is incredibly proud of your accomplishments in wrestling this year.
Folks, come join the Bartlett Police Department and us at Culver’s off Route 59 and Schick Road for a reading party with frozen custard!
We would love to see the community come together on February 28th for this great event.
This week our training involved Ice Rescue. Our crews work on this scenario annually in the event of a victim falling through the ice. The yellow suit donned by our personnel provides us with protection from the frigid water and allows us to utilize rope bags to perform a rescue.
Congratulations to FF Amato, FF Casey, FF Whitt, & FF Wright for completing their probationary period.
These four have gone above and beyond during their first year here at Bartlett and will continue to serve the District at the highest standard of care.
Here is an image from the structure fire we fought today. These rooms are right across from each other. The ”clean” room had the door closed when the fire started in the “dirty” room.
Please remember to close your doors before you go to bed. Stay safe.
