Hey everyone: Please let me recommend this awesome page @SOA250
She posts always positive and sometime obscure facts about our amazing country, as we build up to our 250th anniversary!
@RossionQ@Zoomer_South It’s a Monadnock. A magma chamber that cooled and then the softer materials around it eroded away for many millions of years. It’s slowly “growing” each year.
@AmericanMama@JoeHeadhunter I believe it’s 6 venomous species in Georgia. But that’s plenty. Of course we have gators and black bears and bobcats too. The scariest critter in the woods lately though is the lonestar tick it seems.
@joshstroeb@TeamTrump47 Existing wells, especially in the Permian can break even in the low $40’s but yes, new wells stop happening if oil drops below $65 or so. I have no idea about the economics of the refineries themselves so I will read up.
@BeingTherePOTUS@TeamTrump47 Of course. But the price of a barrel is just a starting point. It would be cheaper to pipe our own oil 500 miles to a refinery than it is to export it and then turn around and import someone else’s oil thousands of miles to the same refinery. It’s ridiculous.
