So let's be precise.
India bought Russian oil to keep 140 crore people moving: sanctioned.
America buys Russian diesel to keep diesel under $6: celebrated.

Same seller.
Same barrels.
Same war.

The only thing that changed is who needed the discount.

India did not fund the war machine.
India did what Washington just did. Eighteen months earlier. Without the all-caps press release.

Yes, the law allows exceptions. Yes, diesel is at a record. Yes, India got a 30-day waiver in March.
That is the point. Energy security is real for everyone or it is real for no one.

The lecture is over.
Next time someone tells India who it can buy fuel from, send them this post.
