CALL FOR PROPOSALS | ICRU SMALL RESEARCH GRANTS 2026

Are you passionate about improving critical care in Uganda? The Intensive Care Registry of Uganda (ICRU), under the Association of Anesthesiologists of Uganda (AAU), is inviting applications for its 2026 Small Research Grants.

The programme will support innovative research projects aimed at improving patient care, strengthening health systems, and advancing evidence-based critical care practice in Uganda.

Who can apply?
• AAU and ICRU Network members
• Nurses and allied health professionals are encouraged to apply
• Non-AAU applicants require an active AAU mentor or supervisor

Funding Available: Up to UGX 20 million will be awarded across up to three research projects.
