With the nights starting to draw in, sunset much earlier than a month ago, its time to start looking at the night sky again.
Tonight over #basingstoke with your Naked Eye, you can find, Saturn rising from 20:22 and setting at 06:05 tomorrow morning,
Jupiter will rise at 22:29. Tomorrow morning (if youre an early riser), you will catch Saturn at 05:13 (48 mins before sunrise.
With small telescopes and binoculars you should be able to see Asteroids and comets throughout the night.
IF you get the chance to go out tonight,
This is 90 minutes at 10m/s of AR 3326 and AR 3329 as they near the limb. Note the energy lines in the sunspots and the prom on the limb.

Just stepping out of a business meeting? No excuse not to grab your phone. This is an image of the moon and @EmpireStateBldg by Dave Shave Wall on his last trip to #newyorkcity
Theres no excuse to grab your phone and not take a quick image of the night sky.
Our next meeting is our Solar observing meeting.
Due to the lighter meetings we will observe the sun using appropriate equipment providing the sky is clear.
Visitors welcome for a £3.00 entrance fee. Under 18's are free of charge and must be accompanied by a fee paying adult.
