Before break, my 12th graders designed "ugly" holiday sweaters. The task: choose a pilgrim from the Canterbury Tales and decorate the sweater with what would symbolically represent their choice. I am loving how they turned out! I got this amazing resource from @BLDGBookLove

3rd graders listened to Aaron Reynold’s story Creepy Carrots then built candy catapults to see which would go the greatest distance. Spooky Halloween music played to help focus us on our building! The circulation desk is looking festive, too! 🍬🍭🦇👻🎃
5th graders sure are batty for learning! We are learning about nonfiction & the spooky topic is BATS! 🦇 We read about bats, tested our comprehension skills w/ Kahoot & built bats, too! Growth mindsets were charged, planning out how to build using only the supplies in the bags.
