Clippers move to winners bracket of BQ playoffs w 8-6 win over Molloy. Chris Baillargeon 2 hits 3RBI, Robbie Agoglia 2 doubles 2 RBI staked the Clippers to an 8-0 lead. Molloy got to 8-4 with bases loaded in 5th but Aaron Goldstein relieved and got out of the jam.

Friday the first place Clippers are home for a playoff tilt with Archbishop Molloy 1pm at Shore Rd field. Molloy has handed Xaverian it's only 2 conference losses this year.

Xaverian defeated Sea 6-5. Trailing 5-3 in the 5th Xaverian got a big RBI single from John Camera. In the 6th Chris Baillargeon's RBI tied the game and in the 7th Nick Piazza's single through the originator ended the almost 3 hour contest.

Rhode Island's Xavier Vargas (ex-Clipper) smashed his 11th homerun of the season and drove in his team leading 53rd RBI to lead the Rams over U Mass.

Good day for the Ryan family. Catcher Jack Ryan's homerun proved vital in the Clippers 7-6 win over Molloy and older brother Dan Ryan's 3 run blast was the turning point in Fairfield's (nation best 35-1 record) 8-5 victory over Manhattan in the MAC tournament quarterfinals.

The Clippers defeated Molloy 7-6. Jack Ryan (HR) Tom Remmen Nick Piazza and Robbie Agoglia all had 2 hits. Chris Walsh and Chris Baillargeon each had solid all around games. Agoglia earned the win with 4 scoreless innings and Jakob Anderson earned the save.

The Clippers for the 3rd straight game had late inning heroics as they rallied from 3-0 to score 11 runs in the top of the 7th en route to 11-5 win and series sweep of McClancy. Jaylen Hernandez(2hits) started the rally and Tom Remmen (2hits) delivered the key blow in the rally.

The Clippers trailed 6-1 after 3 innings but scored 8 runs over the last two frames to beat McClancy 9-6. Nick Piazza and Chris Walsh had key RBI singles in the uprising. Jakob Anderson 3 scoreless for the win and Joe Abramson his 2nd str8 save. Clippers now 8-0 in league play.

Xaverian improved to 7-0 in league play with an exciting come from behind victory 7-5 over McClancy. Down 5-2 in the 7th Nick Piazza crushed a 3 run homer to tie it and Jack Ryan hit a line double to center to plate the 2 go ahead runs. Rob Agoglia the win Joe Abramson the save.

The Clippers completed the sweep of SFP with a 4-1 victory in the series finale. Starter Aaron Goldstein pitched 5 strong innings with relief help from Jakob Anderson who recorded the save. Chris Walsh had 2 hits and Jaylen Hernandez 2 RBI to pace the offense.

Today the Clippers resumed a suspended game tied at 1-1 after 8inn vs SFP. In the top of the 9th Jack Ryan plated the go ahead run with a sac fly to make a winner of Chris Baillargeon. Aaron Goldstein pitched the bottom of the 9th to record the save.

Clippers 6 SFP 1. Joe Abramson went five strong innings for the win and was supported by the offense of Nick Piazza (3 hits) and Cooper Priestly (2 runs and key RBI single).
