223 picks from the 2026 MLB Draft made their pro debuts this summer.

Kind of an interesting note. Trent Harris had the second-highest release point in baseball in 2026. At 73.2 degrees, only Taylor Rashi had a higher release point.
We put together our dream 21st century World Series roster, with 26 players across the American League and National League.

Name a player who's remembered for one single play. One moment, and it's the first thing anybody thinks of when they hear his name. Any sport, any era.
Golden State has started exploring trade routes for Kristaps Porzingis, who is now seriously contemplating his future in basketball as he deals with recurring symptoms from the autoimmune condition termed as POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), sources tell ESPN.
Randy Rodríguez's fastball velocity is recovering back to normal, and his iVB (18.6") and spin rate (2,716 RPM) continue to grade out in a way that made it one of the best four-seamers in baseball in 2025.
Randy Rodriguez brought the heat in his second start of the Fall 🔥
The 2025 NL All-Star touches 98 MPH in his second outing with the Scorpions. Rodriguez has struck out three in his two innings of work.
Steven Kwan will be entering the final year of his contract in 2027, and folks around the league are monitoring him as a potential trade candidate this winter. https://t.co/9knqG2u3LM
Is he a fit for the Giants? They like him, and he'd immediately be their best outfielder. There are a few reasons why it is probably not a good idea. They need to start over with the outfield, and adding a good player with one year of team control remaining is probably not...

Rays - 80 scouts
Brewers - 64 scouts

Tim Hill (left) and Hoby Milner (right) are both coming off down years, but offer a different look. Hill and Milner's pitch mix still grades out favorably, and both have at least one pitch to anchor their arsenal around. Neither would be a bad addition.
The Giants likely need to add at least one left-handed reliever this offseason, and they could use some more arm slot variance in the bullpen. A good bullpen usually has a few different looks, but the Giants have too little variance in stuff and arm slot....
A lot of clubs have started to do a nice job making videos that shed light on their scouts and the scouting process in general. Cool to see.
This is the backbone of every organization and most of these guys don't get enough credit. A few I've seen (1/2):
Three teams left, and all three have bigger-than-average analytics staffs.
Brewers: 46 (2nd in MLB)
Rays: 39
Guardians: 30
League average: 28.5
The Phillies have the biggest staff in baseball, and they're already home. Like payroll, it's one input. Everything else combined still matters more.
