@mryclept Hearing Flo getting called up made my day. Hopefully he will get some regular playing time during the last 19 games. With his breakout season at Scranton, I’m confident that another team will claim him if he goes through waivers in the future.

@mryclept Like AnnMarie said, let him play the final 19 games or so and they can re-evaluate. They have nothing to lose since he is an impending minor league free agent. Obviously, Flo still strikes out a ton but has turned into a potential big time power hitter this year.

@mryclept Just saw the news on Dominguez and also immediately thought it is now the perfect time to call up Flo, especially after a big game 2 HR, 6 RBI today and also having a good series overall in Columbus. The Yankees will create a spot a spot on the 40 man if they really want to.

@RandyJMiller @swbrailriders I thought it would have been great if Flo got traded to Kansas City or Colorado before the trade deadline. He would have gotten some good playing time due to their lack of a good regular center fielder and their places in the standings.

@RandyJMiller @swbrailriders I’ve heard excuses from Boone saying that Flo is not on the 40 man roster, but as you stated, they made room for Calhoun, Bauers, and McKinney. Like Mark says, there has to be something else, unfairly, from the front office’s perspective.

@RandyJMiller @swbrailriders The Yankees have given up a lot of runs this season due to below average outfield defense. I’m talking about IKF, Bauers, Cabrera, Cordero(when he was up). It’s mind boggling why the Yankees did not call up Flo this year,he would be an instant defensive upgrade over those 4 guys

@RandyJMiller @swbrailriders Hopefully Flo will sign with another organization this off season that will give him consistent playing time that the Yankees never have (at the big league level). The Yankee organization and front office has resembled a clown show this season.

@mryclept Tom, I totally agree. Do you know why Florial (what kind of injury) was placed on the 7 day IL on 8/2? He played the whole game on 8/1, going 1 for 4.

@amarco_16 Adam, have the RailRiders disclosed Florial’s injury that resulted in the current 7 day IL stint? Seems fishy to me…. the Yankees have seriously mishandled Flo’s situation the whole year. He deserved to be promoted numerous times, but the Yankees have decided not to promote Flo
