Congrats to 8th grader Dylan Bosma on being named Second Team All War Eagle! Dylan hit .278 with 22 hits, 4 doubles, 18 RBI’s and struck out just 4 times while hitting mainly in the 2 spot. He played as good as at short stop as anyone did in NW IA. On the mound he threw 24.2 IP

with 15 strike outs and kept us in some games in relief. Dylan is a fierce competitor (see picture below) and projects well for Knight’s Baseball in the future. #GoKnights

Congrats to freshman @BraedenBosma on being named First Team All War Eagle! At the plate Braeden led the team in hits (27), doubles (5), and average (.342). On the mound, he posted a 3-4 record, 33.1 IP, 4.20 ERA and led the pitching staff in K’s (36). Topping out at 79 MPH,

Congrats to senior James Bouma on being named First Team All War Eagle! James hit .301, up from .277 last year, with 22 RBI and stole 6 bases. He led the team in triples (4) and hit the only varsity home run. He played a nearly perfect center field for the Knights. #GoKnights

Well, it didn’t end the way we’d like it to but this team had a lot of growth and became very competitive once things got rolling. On a given night we started three 8th graders, three freshmen and a sophomore. We hit two of the best pitchers in Northwest Iowa better than anyone,
