Aussie Catholic conservative kinophile who's a real Family Guy (Letterboxd below). Opinions received via post by unknown foreign agents.

Even though no one sees my posts or gives a fuck, I'm going to start posting my thoughts more on X because every time I fill out one of the "anonymous" engagement surveys at work my boss and HR come knocking asking if I've been leaving comments. Being religious right ain't easy.

@RestoreAussies The UK tried to enforce an arms embargo towards the end of the mandate that would have potentially caused a very different outcome in 1948. Maybe Bibi is still bitter, but tbh I don't understand why he seems so determined to lose the PR war.

@Timdawg37 @brilliantdog5 NDAs aren't enforcible, yet Epstein was stupid not to include these unenforceable NDAs?

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

@EnochBowden @john_macgowan Imagine if he got his hands on a history book and learned that people have come up with all sorts of ways to harm each other.

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

@JohnArgus4 @john_macgowan The article states he was obsessed with GTA V, GTA VI is only mentioned because it's being released soon and they had to pad the word count.

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

@john_macgowan "Mr Nugent kept a copy of the map of Los Santos, the fictional town used in the video game, and would refer to the game’s printed instructions." - Real sentence printed in a self-announced "masthead" newspaper. How embarrassing.

@datnofact Unironically the funniest Scary Movie was Scary Movie 3 which is most like Naked Gun/Airplane style of humour.

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

@AndyMasley Yeh, Twim Peaks: Fire Walk With Me is nothing but misogynistic chud patriarchal propaganda. Dumb fuck Ebert.

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

@ElonBachman Wtf did you say about my boy Ted, I dare you to say that again at your mailbox

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

@DerekPederson3 It wasn't Allen, there's basically no real evidence against him. And sorry Steve Hodel but your dad wasn't the Zodiac, or Black Dahlia killer, or every other 20th century murder you want to put in him because he beat your ass with jumper cables.

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

@gummibear737 In the face of relentless leftist doxing, I have made the decision to come out and admit I am not actually Richard 'Tricky Dick' Nixon nor am I currently located in the Black Lodge, I'm so sorry

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

@AaronCSmith1 @proteinwisdom @Nerdrotics What about Freddie, huh? All he wanted to do was watch and touch the kids.

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

[Drew Pavlou 🇦🇺🇺🇸🇫🇷🇺🇦🇹🇼 @DrewPavlou]

I received more than ten death threats today.

If a communist ever succeeds in killing me, please do not use my death to call for unity, peace and tolerance.

My ghost will instead demand REVENGE.

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

@Howlingmutant0 This is great representation for the bug chaser/giver community.

[Joseph S 🇦🇺 @BasedDownUnder]

I sorta get where you are coming from. It felt like Dano's pastor character disappeared after the first part of the film and it became a psychological study of Plainview, with Dano only showing up again at the very end. It would have been interesting to see it made as you are suggesting though, I agree.

@mozartsosmart @Lillian285Kolva Says the guy from the country where One of the leading causes of death is people being put down like animals
