@_hoxsJ Oh this is fax. There are narutards on this app who are trying to make the story seem more complex than it is.
Like no, it's very simple and self-explanatory.
But they be like "no, Naruto and Sasuke's bond is sooooo deep, you just don't get it" 🤡
@3rmie3@Oro713362357873@TickyTac Yeah, no. It's not really the same.
If you actually follow the story:
For Nagato, Yahiko was the Catalyst.
For Obito, Rin was the Catalyst AND the Reason.
The way Obito has a complete personality shift and meltdown over Rin's death was already enough of a sign.
@Oro713362357873@TickyTac Saying "it was never about Rin" is simply being completely disingenuous lmao.
Obito's words, doesn't match his actions and reactions throughout the war.
Btw, Naruto redeeming him over a simple speech, is not good writing. But these are discussions from the past. Naruto is mid🥱
@Oro713362357873@TickyTac Are you dumb ? this literally confirms that Rin was his only hope in the world.
He was that obsessed with a childhood crush, that he surrendered to despair and craved a world where he can be with rin again.
@Oro713362357873@TickyTac There is literally a panel after Obito's defeat where he said that Rin was his only hope in the world. He literally did everything he did....because of her 😅
@TotallyNotMark The appetite for "Spiderman" never went anywhere.
That's the real answer. I watched Brand New Day, it's a good film, but it doesn't do anything revolutionary and is pretty much your typical marvel flick.
@henry_thurlow I heavily relate to this tbh. I'm all about freedom of speech but if people are just gonna be trolls and spam nonsense (especially if the purpose is to push personal and fallacious slander to push a narrative) then got no choice but to block.
@kicking_crocs@mussi3x This post is not aimed at you. It's aimed at people who complain about pacing but have never/barely watched the show.
And I know the pacing in dressrosa is bad (still a 9/10 depsite the pacing though)
At the end of the day, pacing enjoyment is subjective.
@mazaochizao This is a problem with animanga community on twt in general. They treat these stories as if they're watching watching competitive sports.
And this kinda factors into why JJK has alot of hype, cos it doesn't have much of a story, it's just fights (so the powerscaling convos go brr)
@FloaterMerchant@kicking_crocs@mussi3x And some of those episodes contains added content/scenes that helps expand on material that Oda skips over in the manga.
Wano had quite alot of these added content.
@zelieboude@mussi3x I mean.....you were able to watch it the first time, without pacing affecting your enjoyment, so.......🤷♂️
But again, the post is aimed at people who complain about the pacing yet have never watched OP.

@mussi3x The reality in most of these cases imo, is that they don't find OP appealing (either cos of it's goofy aesthetic, artstyle, concept etc) , but they're jealous of OP's constant success and content, so they find reasons to hate.
@mussi3x Cos "Pacing" was always just an excuse.
Yes, One Piece is slower paced (due to being a weekly anime for over 2 decades), but if you're someone who has never watched OP, then how can you complain about pacing at all 😭It doesn't make sense.
It's just an excuse to hate OP.
@TheEgoStar If they do end up being so successful to continue past post timeskip, then awesome 👍
But the main priority, the reason Oda requested the remake, was to get newer fans to start One Piece (since they would avoid it due to it's 1000+ eps and outdated animation in early eps)
