I think there needs to be a serious debate within FIFA about player's nationalities.
Whether it be strictly birthplace, ethnic background, where you spent the most time in your youth, or where you played the most football.
There have been so many examples of players benefitting from the resources of a nation they grew up in and made a huge part of their identity, scuttling off to another country because of either heritage, or that they were born there before emigrating.
