I would instantly break down the different reactors first personally boiling water reactors (bwr) primarily operate by using depleted uranium…238? To boil water to steam to drive a turbine which are then controlled by the temperature cooling over the fuel rods. Then there are… Rbnk reactors? They use a similar method but encase it in.. magnesium 59 to control the reactions with a movement of the fuel rods. Chernobyl’s an example of an rnbk reactor and all reactors use fission as a means of splitting the atom to generate this heat !!!!
