Yes, $200 per citizen.
But how can a poor nation:
1. Buy and maintain a presidential air fleet of planes and helicopters costing billions—N20b in 2025?
2. Build an N21b home for a VP that is now abandoned?
3. Import SUVs for all lawmakers, costing N40b?
If the nation is poor and everyone will get less than $200, why are unelected aides flying private jets from Abuja to Kaduna?
Why is the poverty story only applicable when it's time to share oil wealth with all Nigerians? Why don't we hear “the nation is poor” when senators are sent tokens?
Again, I remind everyone that these figures below were published by the FGN following the removal of the fuel subsidy and external borrowings:
Total resources: N20 trillion
Total education spend: <N300b

Bola, you claim Nigerians love you, yet your billboards in Kaduna require security guards. Bandits raid villages, terrorists attack communities, and families live in fear. Your posters enjoy protection that millions of Nigerians can only dream of. What a tragic statement of your government’s priorities. Bola, please protect Nigerians with the same urgency you protect your image! -AA
Yesterday I went to the car wash and met a childhood friend who worked there, washing cars. We greeted, laughed about some old times and talked for a while then he insisted on washing my car himself. I kept refusing at first because I don’t know, it just felt weird to me seeing someone I grew up with, someone I knew from way back now washing cars at a car wash. He is working, he is earning his own money and there is dignity in that but seeing him there did something to me.
He eventually washed the car and when I wanted to pay him, he refused to collect anything. I insisted and ended up giving him much more than what he normally charges. I just couldn’t bring myself to leave without paying him properly. Throughout the day, I kept thinking about how life turns out. You grow up with somebody, you know them as a child, you probably had similar dreams and ideas about where life would take you but then years later, you meet again and realise how differently life has written both your stories. He told he came to Abuja because he has applied for Civil Defence job so he’s here to see who can help him.
It really humbled me because it reminded me that none of us actually knows where life is taking us. Circumstances change and people go through things you may never know about and sometimes the person you think is doing better today could be somewhere completely different tomorrow. So I’ve learnt to be a little more careful with pride and contentment. Allah can change a person’s situation in ways we cannot imagine.
Wallahi rayuwar nan ba komai bane. Alhamdulillah ya Allah.
My birthday cakes through the years—featuring King Messi, Barça, Argentina, Lamine, and Inter Miami when Messi won the MLS with them. A fanatic all the way through and proud!

Your region has been burning of insecurity. Poverty & employment isn't a news because you're yourself unemployed. There was a time you yourself speak against the failures of the govt & vowed to stand against it not because of anything but because it has failed to attend to all our pressing needs!
Then boom! You were called to the table. Then you were handled some stipends or promises. Suddenly, your eyes closed. You are now OK with the thousands of lives lost daily. With the continuous hardship that yourself is a witness. With the flawed policies that haven't resolved any of our problems.
Our prayers to you is simple: May Allãh SubhanaHu wata'ala handle your affairs the way they have been handling the affairs of the nation. 🤲
Even if this approach works, what is the shirt or long term benefit for adopting it? Will your reward just be the 30-40 miserable years living with a psychopath you are enabling?
I will advice her to get a Divorce.
She will get that Umrah and latest iPhones outside.
Staying in that marriage won't give her that luxuries.
She deserves more.
Tell that Baby girl, she needs to explore the wonders of iPhone 18pro max outside.
It's her right..!
