Distinguished sir, as a proud titleholder in the Katsina Emirate, I stand firmly with His Royal Highness, Sarkin Katsina.
The same Google search you recommend records his demand for stronger action against insecurity under Buhari in May 2019. That record deserves acknowledgement.
Remember, You supported Atiku to succeed Buhari after eight years of northern presidency; today, you insist that fairness requires eight years for the South. You owe the public an explanation of that shift before presenting another person’s changed assessment as evidence of ethnic prejudice.
His remarks in 2022 are open to scrutiny. So are yours. Neither places his concerns today beyond consideration.
Praying for a President’s success does not surrender the right to demand accountability. Sarkin Katsina has every reason to speak when his people face insecurity.
Apply the same standard, Senator. Answer the substance of his concerns. Our people need protection, and their suffering deserves more than insinuations about their Emir’s motives.
May Allah protect our communities and guide our leaders.
Today, I hosted the leadership of Aspire Alliance for Niger State Youths (AANY) under the leadership of my able brother @HASPhD on a courtesy visit to my office.
It gladdens me to hear that AANY has touched more than 6,000 lives through its humanitarian mission.
I encouraged them to continue in the line of God’s work because I believe that service to humanity is service to God.
After meeting with the AANY leadership, I proceeded with the usual legislative business of plenary proceedings and @HouseNGR Public Accounts Committee meetings.
Earlier today, I participated in a meeting of the @HouseNGR Committee on Public Accounts under the leadership of Hon @bamidelesalamBS where we scrutinised the expenditure of funds by 13 public agencies to ensure that they were spent in accordance with approved appropriations and other relevant financial regulations.
The meeting focused on accountability, transparency, and ensuring that public resources are utilised for their intended purposes in the interest of Nigerians.
Yesterday, I had a fruitful closed-door meeting with the @MasariAlh Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters.
Our engagement provided an opportunity for meaningful political dialogue, and reflections on the importance of unity, strategic collaboration, and inclusive governance.
Politics must always go beyond personal ambitions to building bridges, strengthening institutions, and advancing the collective interests of our people.
The future of our democracy depends on dialogue, mutual respect, and our shared commitment to a stronger, more united and prosperous Nigeria. 🇳🇬
Leadership is about service, not self-interest.
Earlier today, I participated in meetings of the House Committees on Federal Character and Public Accounts as the @HouseNGR resumed from its long recess.
Nigeria First 👏🇳🇬🤝
