Art remains one of the most powerful ways nations tell their stories, build connections, and engage the world.
At Dotun Popoola’s Reclaimed Beauty: A Dialogue Between Continents, I was reminded once again of the role our artists play as cultural ambassadors, using creativity to bridge cultures and inspire meaningful conversations beyond borders.
As Nigerian creatives continue to gain global recognition, the Ministry @Fmactce_Nigeria remains committed to supporting platforms and practitioners who are expanding the reach and influence of our cultural and creative industries.

Restoring Hope and Rebuilding Communities
Yesterday, I had the honor of commissioning 152 mass housing units and several strategic development projects in Jibia Local Government Area as part of our commitment to restoring hope, rebuilding communities, and strengthening resilience in areas affected by insecurity.
Beyond the housing units, we also commissioned the Climate Peace Hub and Entrepreneurship Centre, solar mini-grid electrification for Daddara Community, market infrastructure, agricultural support programmes, enterprise grants, and other critical projects aimed at improving livelihoods and promoting sustainable peace.
These interventions are the result of strong collaboration between the Katsina State Government, UNDP, the German Government through GIZ, the Norwegian Government, and other development partners. Together, we are demonstrating that lasting peace is achieved through a combination of security, economic empowerment, and community development.
I am encouraged by the significant improvement in the security situation in Jibia, which has enabled residents to return to farming, business activities, and other productive pursuits. Our administration remains committed to expanding similar interventions to other communities across the state.
I congratulate all beneficiaries and thank our development partners, security agencies, traditional institutions, and community leaders for their support.
Katsina Update: Governor Radda Commissions 50kWp Solar Mini-Grid In Daddara Community
Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, @dikko_radda, has commissioned a 50kWp Solar Mini-Grid in Daddara Community, Jibia Local Government Area, as part of ongoing efforts to expand energy access, stimulate rural economic growth, and promote sustainable development across Katsina State.
The project was implemented under the Africa Minigrids Programme (AMP) in partnership with the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), @TheREANigeria, and funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The mini-grid is expected to provide reliable and affordable electricity to households, businesses, and agro-processing enterprises, enhancing productivity and improving livelihoods within the community.
