Deframer just got faster. And it now brings your split-test versions along too.

A Framer site can show different versions of the same page to different visitors. That makes conversion more complicated: a page can look right while another version is missing from the export.

I’ve been working on handling that properly.

Deframer now detects split tests and includes their published versions in your converted project.

You can choose a version in Compare and see the original and converted site side by side, both pinned to the same version.

One site we tested had 5 split tests and 13 versions. All included in the export.

I’ve also improved conversion speed and expanded support for more Framer sites, including sites that previously failed.

Your pages, components, layouts, motion and split-test versions come together in a Next.js + TypeScript project you can edit and run yourself.

If you tried Deframer before and your site didn’t convert, give it another go.

And if your site runs split tests, I’d love to hear how this works for you.

Framer is great for building websites, but being locked into one platform can be a real challenge.

Deframer is an interesting solution: convert your Framer website into a clean Next.js + TypeScript project without rebuilding from scratch.

Curious to see where this goes. 👀

I’ve spent the last three months building this.

Deframer is finally here.

It started with the same conversation with clients. They wanted to leave Framer, but felt stuck. Moving meant rebuilding their sites.

I was feeling it too. Pricing kept getting harder to justify. The product experience felt worse.

Our template sales also took a hit after the marketplace and community changes. Other template creators have been seeing their revenue dip too.

So I built Deframer.

Some exporters just package what the browser loads from your published URL.

Deframer writes a clean Next.js + TypeScript project, following Next.js best practices. Code you can read, maintain and run yourself.

It also optimizes for SEO, AEO and speed.

Paste your Framer URL, verify it’s yours, and convert. Your pages, components, layouts and motion come along.

Three months later, it’s ready for you to try.

If you’ve been wanting to move off Framer, I’d love to hear how it works for you.

@RealMehdi101 Solving a real pain point for both clients and developers. Excited to see where Deframer goes!

An important piece from Demis. We need more of this kind of thinking. A good reminder that the goal is a frontier ecosystem that promotes innovation and choice, while avoiding any one model drop that breaks the world!

hiring

[Emon @emonpixels]

Hello @Framer Folks!

We’re hiring a Framer Developer (Full-Time or Project-Based).

✅ One Must-Have Requirement

You must have developed at least one Featured Framer Marketplace template, either your own or for a client.

💼 Compensation

I’m from a South Asian country, so I can’t offer huge salaries like some agencies. I already have 4 Framer developers on the team.

That said, I can promise long-term, consistent work for the right person.

🔥 Why We’re Hiring

We currently have 20+ completed Figma designs waiting to be developed in Framer, and we need help shipping them as soon as possible. 🥲

If you’re interested, drop your portfolio, Framer profile, or Featured Framer Marketplace template links in the comments or send me a DM.
