STOP BEING CHRONICALLY ONLINE
Go out there and do some fun stuff. Become the weird guy others are ashamed to be around. Socialize more. Give compliments to strangers and make their day better. Explore places in your hometown that you’ve never visited before. Create memories that you’ll look back on with a smile.
You’ll realize that one day of real adventure can make you feel more fulfilled than constantly checking social media.
Humans didn’t evolve to constantly check their phones. You’re here to have an uplifting experience.
Make the best of it.
you’re 22. you scroll 3 hours a day. it feels harmless
at 28 you can’t read an article without checking your phone twice per paragraph
at 32 you don’t understand why nothing you start ever finishes, you’re still dreaming of this project you wanted to start. still no time
at 40 you’ve never finished a book in a decade.
it all passed
In adults, limiting smartphone functionality to texting and calls and blocking all social media and mobile internet for 2 weeks significantly improved attention, self-reported well-being and mental health. 90% of participants experienced a benefit.
Qifrey's words "If you're desperate to learn something quickly, it's best to integrate it into your daily life" remind me of Rosalind Franklin's quote "Science and everyday life cannot and should not be separated". Magic is a combination of art and science

SIAPAA MULAI TREND INI… MAKASIH BANGETT 😭🙏🏻
gara-gara threads jadi tau combo Nivea + Glycolic Acid ini, awalnya cuma fomo… eh sekarang malah ketagihan 😭
@CursoryRogue20@upperbodyinvul Not inherently, but i think a game has to be very specifically tailor made for that system, rather than it just being slapped on every game like it is nowadays. Fantasy Strike is a rly good example imo. The game rly leans heavily into its simplicity and i actually enjoy it
@CursoryRogue20@upperbodyinvul Honestly i just find them rly boring. Whenever i try a game that doesn't have motion inputs (2XKO, DNF Duel) it just feels so lame to play that i quickly drop it. And whenever a game has an option for both i always go for motion inputs
@Jameswhitmire03@upperbodyinvul I've felt this way about Strive for so long and I feel like I'm the only one. I dunno why every newcomer to the fgc i meet started out with that game when it feels so bad to play for me
Fr tho I've been tryna tell ppl motion inputs aren't the problem with the genre and it's getting real annoying seeing games pop up without them. I tried 2XKO for a few minutes and never touched it again cuz i thought it was so boring 😴 And now i don't even see anyone playing it
