@rayexis Maybe sometimes we’re just not ready for the book. I read it when it was first released- 97/98. Totally underwhelmed. Didn’t get the hype. I reread it this year. Fell in love with it. One of the best books. I’m so glad for the second try.
@CheeFlor@gavinci7 It’s not necessarily forced by parents. Sometimes children too can make choices and decisions on their own. They too can leverage their parent’s popularity. The fact is we do not know who forced who.
I’m pretty disappointed that I grew up believing bad people would face consequences for doing terrible things, only to become an adult and realize that bad people literally get away with everything. Sometimes, they even get rewarded for it.
@mr_mayank 😂😂😂😂 At first I wondered why these journalists didn’t spank him with their mikes at the first few mistakes and then I commended them for maintaining pin drop silence and not interrupting at all. Exposed him thoroughly.
@Aagan86 No one will be spared division. We’ll kept dividing the country, the regions, the states, the communities, the people until derision and hate is all we’ve got for one another. Congratulations 👏🏽 you’re part of the divisive process.
@chetana_cg@GouravVallabh Everything aside, I love Mr. Garg’s smiling demeanor. That’s the only way to handle dumbness instead of spitting and spewing.
@portraitinflesh I loved the Whitney Houston version. But much later when I heard the Dolly Parton version, I just couldn’t go back to WH. Dolly’s version was much more poignant and vulnerable. And I could only resonate with that vulnerability that Dolly Parton portrayed.
