A mother attaches herself to her son, who then dies. She grieves as she moves between the poles of attachment and separation. As this happens, the world feels barren on the inside.

But the world feels barren on the outside, too, during times of winter. Thus, if internal corresponds to external, then Demeter must literally be in grief, which is why there are no crops.

There is no antithetical division between internal and external so one can say “That may be true for my soul, but not the external world.”
Instead, if internal corresponds to external, and the internal is true, then so the external must be, too.

This is why they didn’t need to be present at the birth of the world for them to mythologize it: life cycled between life and death, growth and decay, from male and female pairs.

Thus, we get all these cosmogonies where two polar forces created the world. They essentially imagistic ally projected their polar way of doing things backwards.

This is also why disparate mythologies say the same thing: they’re all working within the same consciousness structure.

Put two groups living under the mental structure completely away from each other and, eventually, they’ll agree on the laws of logic or scientific method.

No it’s not the ideology of The Loser.

What’s happening is that these people believe the world was shaped by two cosmic forces: Oppressor and Oppressed, just as the farmer back in the day perceived the growing of crops as the presence of the God of Renewal. Of course, there must be its polar opposite, the God of Decay.

Humans, through time, move through these poles until the world is shaped as we see it today.

When Jim Crow was a thing, the cosmic force of Oppression was present and active. When Jim Crow was destroyed, the cosmic force of Oppressed (or Social Justice) is present and efficacious.

This is why America, Trump, Elon and Israel are put together in the same box: the world is shaped by two cosmic forces, and all the people listed are successful, meaning they must have gotten there due to their oppressive tactics.

Nevermind that this is all irrational nonsense. They believe that we are the way we are because the god of Oppression has poured his evil into us, just as the god of wrath—Ares—poured anger into the Sea Peoples, who threaten to destroy our tribe.
