Our end of year highs - The Batley Bake Off 2026. Congratulations to Batley Grammar who won first prize for their apple extravaganza. Their entry consisted of home grown apples made into delicious apple crumble, apple cheesecake, apple aid, chocolate apples & even apple curry!

Our end of year highs, celebrating #BatleyBrilliance - Run for Jo 2026. It was a wonderful day that brought our entire community together. This year was particularly poignant as we marked 10 years of building a lasting legacy to Jo Cox & celebrating the very values she stood for.

Celebrating 'Batley Brilliance’ this term. Our CEO had the privilege of being invited to 10 Downing Street to attend an event hosted by the Prime Minister. It was in recognition of the vital role education plays in the fabric of society & is the strongest antidote to division.

Step Into The Future event- this term our energy shifted to the future. 250 learners gathered on the Batley Girls’ High School field. Standing together, they spelled out Jo’s name. A drone captured the stunning visual tribute to a legacy that continues to guide us.#MoreInCommon

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside! Today 56 Year 2 children from Manorfield Infant & Nursery School visited Filey. Sea, sand & sun were in all place, as well as ice creams. Summer memories like these enrich the lives of our learners. An end of year high!🍦 #BatleyBrilliance

Our end of year highs, celebrating Batley Brilliance. In June, Upper Batley High School won Small Employer of the Year in the annual Apprenticeship Awards from the University of Huddersfield. It was awarded for the support given to the Maths Teacher Degree Apprenticeship route.
